With a noble intention of providing education to the children of Railway Employees of Khurda Division, A Railway School came into inception on 20-4-1915 and grew by leaps and bounds. Today it stands majestically as the only institution to have completed the centenary celebration in the East Coast Railway.
The one and only institution which caters to all the sections of the local community is the most sought after organization .
It has the distinction as the oldest undivided South Eastern Railway School and the only Higher Secondary School in East Coast Railway. The school is affiliated to CBSE – Delhi, and BSE & CHSE – Odisha.
The East Coast Railway Mixed Higher Secondary School is located near the Khurda Road Railway Station in a sprawling campus of around 2.5 acres, with a magnificent building and green lawns and a play ground of 20000sq.mtrs., with state of the art facilities provided time to time by the concerned Railway Authorities.
The highly qualified teaching staff is devoted and committed in their endeavor in delivering knowledge and maintaining discipline and moral values.
